This is a very special custom doll for a dear friend who is definitely a cat lover. She rescues feral cats that live along the Texas coast near her beach house and takes them to the vet for neutering and shots. If permanent homes cannot be found for them, she returns them to their wild habitat, but continues to feed and water them. Occasionally a very lucky little kitten may find a new home living with her. The needle-felted cats that surround this one-of-a-kind doll represent some of her current pets as well as a couple of special loves who have gone on to Cat Heaven.
