This Mexican family is on their way to Market. Papa carries a clay jug and mugs to offer a cool drink for sale, while mama carries baskets of tomatoes, eggplants, lemons and limes. Pablo has colorful parrots on a pole to sell, while an unhappy Luis must take his favorite chicken to market. Little sister, Maria, carries a basket of eggs and her dolly. Their clothes are made of cotton and the straw sombreros and leather huaraches on several of the dolls were purchased. Their faces are hand-painted and their hair is dyed Tibetan Lamb. Heights range from 10" to 18".
