Don Quixote
Don Quixote

My interpretation of Don Quixote was created for the TAODA Storybook Doll Exhibit VI that debuted at the 2007 Houston International Quilt Market and Festival. The 17 one-of-a-kind doll is dressed in metal armor made from craft aluminum. Hes seated in a wooden chair holding a sword and a wooden shield and dreaming of being a real knight. The wooden table holds his helmet, books and a faux candle. Following the Quilt Festival debut, the TAODA Exhibit VI Storybook Dolls will be displayed at libraries and museums in and around the Houston area over the next couple of years.
